the view of the pool from the room. torre de portinatx is just a short distance away.

Food, beach, staff.
Wi-Fi was for 1 day and only even worked near reception. There was no connection in the hotel room. The first day the bathroom was not really clean. If you cannot rent a car, the way from the airport to the hotel is either difficult (by bus) or expensive (by taxi). About 50km

Decent place for vacation and enjoyment, recommended. It was truly a great stay. La Ciguena is walking distance to the hotel. 10 minutes walk from the property to Punta Galera.
-
The food was very good and plentiful. The best part was the entertainments team, they worked hard all day and night. The shows were great, a bit cheesy, but were lots of fun for adults and kids
the door didn't lock properly to the accomodation and would open when locked with a bit of force. Told reception who said this was normal???? Hotel is some distance from portinax town the walk into town is all downhill which isn't too bad but then you have to climb back up. pool areas are small and beds are on top of one another, the small pool is the best not too busy. The beach would be great if it had some sand on it.
-
Location to Portinax, easy access to beach.
Very limited and repetitive food choices. Hotel is better for families - too many children for adults to use the pools.
-
All inclusive includes alcoholic drinks, location is superb, food is excellent.
Must bring own poolside/beach towels?!?! No daily shampoo or soap (once a week) ?!?! Location is isolated with respect to _everything_ in Ibiza, so transport is hard and expensive, to anywhere.
-
Great location, good entertainment both during the day and in the evening, great for kids.
Too many steps especially if you had a pushchair and did not get a room at ground level. Not enough tables & chairs for the evening entertainment also the "normal" towels on all the sun-loungers by 7am!!
-
Great location. The entertainment was great for children, both during day and evening. Food & drink offered was good, preferred the fish to the meat dishes.
If you have a pushchair not many rooms with easy access, too many steps and not enough ramps . Also room service was not consistent, had to chase for towels, soap toilet paper. Opening times of restaurant at lunch & diner too short especially at busy times, hard to get a table.
-
The location only.
The bar and restaurant staff were not friendly at all. There is not enough communal seating or loungers, there is no sperate kids pull and if there was the children took over both. The food is very repetative, we opted to eat out a lot because of this. Difficult to get a table at breakfast lunch and dinner. Would not go back.
-
The location and the views.
Yes! There were never any loungers available unless you want to wake up at 6.30am to put a towel down. Same with the seating in the evening if you did not grab a seat by 7.30pm then there will be none available. There is suppose to be a kids pool and an adults pool, both pools overtaken by kids. Bar staff very unfriendly, except 2 members.

Excellent facilites, good food & great location - beautiful beach with beach bar. Fish swimming around you in the water!
I would have enjoyed a bath but only shower facilities are available

Great entertainment schedule for Children. Particularly liked that there was entertainment all evening, starting off with the nightly 'show' and then followed by the disco. The entertainment staff work tirelessly throughout the day and evening to make sure that the children are looked after. There is food being served throughout the whole day which means that you don't have to hear the words 'i'm hungry' when there isn't anything available. Read some reviews that the hotel staff were rude and unhelpful. I can honestly say that from the moment that I arrived, I found every single member of staff polite and helpful. My bags were carried to my room at 1130pm. Someone came over to help me with the air conditioning and then with the safe - all without any moans or groans. I haven't stayed in a 3* hotel before and to be honest I wasn't expecting too much. I really was surprised. The rooms are basic, but you're not in them for long. They were clean and houskeeping came to clean up every day. I was never hungry, and I could get a drink when I wanted. I would definitely go back here again.
The pool is far too small for the amout of people at the hotel. The reviews all state this but you don't really appreciate what a scramble it is in the morning until you are there, getting up at 7.30am each day to ensure you got a bed. Rather frustratingly there are certain people who will get up to put their towels out and then go back to bed and not appear until the afternoon. This selfish attitute seems to be across all nationalities. Whilst there are quite a lot of sunbeds around the pool - maybe 3 lines deep, not all areas around the pool get the sun throughout the day. There is only a small section that gets the sun for the whole day which is why there is such a scramble for the beds. The restaurant is only open for 2 hours in the evening for dinner, which isn't long enough to cater for the amount of people staying at the hotel. It was open from 7-9pm. If you went at 7pm you had to be there prompt as there would be long queues. If you went at 8pm then there wasn't much left. One of the hot areas would close around 8.15pm - once whilst I was even trying to put food on my plate. Then they would start clearing away. If you were in the restaurant at 9pm then you sort of felt uncomfortable as they had everything packed away around you and were half way through setting up for breakfast. There should be sunbeds on the private beach. Its a lovely little beach where you can feed the fish, but the fact that you can't lay on a bed would mean that you would get your pool towel covered in sand which would make it uncomfortable back at the hotel. Either beds or supply towels. Also there is a bar by the beach but it wasn't open which meant you had to climb back up alot of steps to get a drink from the hotel. Food and drink should be available as is described, Lastly, there isn't enough chairs available for people to sit on for the evening entertainment.

food verey bad

Good food, lovely views and amazing animations.

Excellent value for money. Choose a seaview room, well worth the extra 70 euros for a week. Food was very good. Drinks good but very weak. The hotel was very busy as our stay was during the 6 weeks school holidays, but the resturant coped with this very well, plenty of food and tables which were extremely clean. Good entertainment every night and lovely swimming pool. It is a really good 3 star hotel so dont expect a 4 or 5 star hotel. Yes there are lots of steps but that cant be helped.
